Computer Laboratory Attendance Recording System

This capstone project, entitled Design and Development of Computer Laboratory Attendance Recording System for CICT, is a web system project that aims to improve the current manual attendance recording process of the users of computer laboratories into an automated recording process. The web system project used the Agile Development Method in terms of planning, requirement analysis, designing, developing, testing, reviewing, and launching. The developed system was conducted by BSIT students at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. Its system functionalities included the process of recording the attendance of computer laboratory users, including the students who use the computer terminals inside the computer laboratory during lab sessions, and the ability to store attendance records. The users of the developed system are laboratory tech personnel as system admin, teachers, and students as users.

As for the evaluation results, Computer Laboratory Attendance Recording System for CICT. demonstrated effectiveness in enhancing the computer laboratory attendance recording process, with positive feedback from all users (lab tech personnel, student and teacher) regarding its usability and functionality. The streamlined student registration and comprehensive record-keeping capabilities significantly improved program management. The system's intuitive interface contributed to a positive user experience, facilitating efficient coordination and evaluation processes. Overall, the web development procedure yielded a successful and user-friendly Computer Laboratory Attendance Recording System for CICT.
